Educational Psychologist

Life can be challenging sometimes, and all people should have spaces where they are held in love, compassion, and positive regard. My role is to create such a space for clients, to nurture and enable them to develop their capabilities to create such spaces for themselves and others, to fulfill more of their potential, and to improve the quality of their lives.

APPROACH

My approach is person-centered, interactional, and salutogenic (focusing on factors that produce mental wellbeing rather than those that cause mental illness). I work alongside clients to enable them to harness their internal and external resources to foster recovery, resilience, and flourishing. I specialise in Individual counselling, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore and build their internal and external resources toward overcoming life's challenges and achieving a better quality of life.

I am trained in a range of therapies based on clients' needs and preferences to enable better coping with life stressors such as scholastic challenges,  relationship difficulties, grief, loneliness, trauma, and stress. My skill repertoire includes Interactional Pattern Analysis; Integrated Brain Based Approaches; BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy) Level 1, CBT, DBT, Teddybear therapy, and more.
